মুহসিনুদ্দীন মাহমূদ ।।
মহামহিম আল্লাহ্ যুগে যুগে দেশে দেশে মানবমণ্ডলীর জন্য তাঁর পথনির্দেশিকা প্রেরণ করেছেন; নবী-রাসূলগণের মাধ্যমে, কিতাব সহকারে। বনী ইসরাঈল জাতির কাছে পাঠিয়েছেন তাঁর দুইজন রাসূল; হযরত মূসাকে (তাঁর ওপর আল্লাহর ঝরুক সালাম) পাঠিয়েছেন ‘তওরাত’ সহ, হযরত ঈসাকে (তাঁর ওপর আল্লাহর ঝরুক সালাম) পাঠিয়েছেন ‘ইঞ্জিল’ সহ।
বনী ইসরাঈল হযরত মূসার ইন্তেকালের পর আল্লাহর দীনের মধ্যে বিকৃতি ঘটিয়ে ‘ইহুদী ধর্মের’ গোড়াপত্তন করে। এরপর আসেন হযরত ঈসা। তাঁকে আল্লাহ্ তা‘আলা জীবিত অবস্থায় আসমানে তুলে নেয়ার পর তাঁর এক ইহুদি শত্রু পল তাঁরই নাম ব্যবহার করে আল্লাহর দীনের মধ্যে আবারো বিকৃতি ঘটিয়ে ‘খ্রিস্টধর্মের’ গোড়াপত্তন করে।
বর্তমানে ইহুদিরা তওরাত সহ আল্লাহর আরো কিছু বাণীকে বিকৃত করে ‘ওল্ড টেস্টামেন্ট’ নামে এবং খ্রিস্টানরা ইঞ্জিলকে বিকৃত করে, সাথে পলের কিছু রচনাকে যুক্ত করে ‘নিউ টেস্টামেন্ট’ নামে ব্যবহার করছেন। এই দুটিকে তারা একত্রে ‘বাইবেল’ নাম দিয়েছেন। মুসলিম সমাজে খ্রিস্টধর্ম প্রচার করতে গিয়ে বাইবেলকে তারা নাম দেন ‘কিতাবুল মোকাদ্দস’।
তো এই ইহুদি এবং খ্রিস্টান ধর্ম মূলত মূর্তি, চিত্র এবং প্রতীক পূজার বিরোধী।
প্রশ্ন আসতে পারে যদি তারা এসবের পূজার বিরোধীই হবেন, তাহলে তাদের গির্জা ও অন্যান্য প্রতিষ্ঠানে, এমনকি তাদের গলায় গলায় যিশুখ্রিস্টের এবং তাঁর মাতা মেরির মূর্তি ও চিত্র এবং ক্রুশের ছড়াছড়ি কেন?
উত্তর একটাই বিকৃতির ওপর বিকৃতি। নীচের প্রমাণগুলো দিবে এ কথার স্বীকৃতি।
কুফর এবং মূর্তিনির্মাণ সম্বন্ধে খ্রিস্টধর্মের সাবধানবাণী
নিউ টেস্টামেন্ট তথা কথিত ইঞ্জিল শরীফে বলা হয়েছে, আল্লাহ ছাড়া যা-কিছুর উপাসনা করা হচ্ছে, তার সবই মিথ্যা। শুধু আল্লাহরই ইবাদাত করতে হবে এবং আল্লাহর ইবাদাত করতে গিয়ে তাঁর কোনো মূর্তি নির্মাণ করা যাবে না। যেমন-
“ঈসা তাঁকে বললেন, শোন, আমার কথায় ঈমান আন, এমন সময় আসছে যখন পিতার এবাদত তোমরা এই পাহাড়েও করবে না, জেরুজালেমেও করবে না। তোমরা যা জান না তার এবাদত করে থাক, কিন্তু আমরা যা জানি তারই এবাদত করি, কারণ নাজাত পাবার উপায় ইহুদীদের মধ্য দিয়েই এসেছে।
কিন্তু এমন সময় আসছে, এমন কি, এখনই সেই সময় এসে গেছে যখন আসল এবাদতকারীরা রূহে ও সত্যে পিতার এবাদত করবে। পিতাও এই রকম এবাদতকারীদেরই খোঁজেন। আল্লাহ রূহ্; যারা তাঁর এবাদত করে, রূহে ও সত্যে তাদের সেই এবাদত করতে হবে।”
(কিতাবুল মোকাদ্দস : ইউহোন্না:৪:২১-২৪)
মূর্তিপূজা সম্বন্ধে সাবধানবাণী
কথিত তওরাত শরীফে বলা হচ্ছে, “তোমরা নিজেদের উপর খুব কড়া নজর রাখবে, যাতে তোমরা কুপথে গিয়ে পূজার উদ্দেশ্যে কোন মূর্তি তৈরী না কর- তা পুরুষের বা স্ত্রীলোকেরই হোক, কিংবা মাটির উপরকার কোন জন্তুর বা আকাশে উড়ে বেড়ানো কোন পাখীরই হোক, কিংবা বুকে-হাঁটা কোন প্রাণীর বা পানির নীচের কোন মাছেরই হোক।
আসমানের দিকে তাকিয়ে সূর্য, চাঁদ ও তারা, এক কথায় আসমানে সাজিয়ে রাখা সমস্ত আলোদানকারী জিনিসগুলো যখন তোমাদের চোখে পড়বে তখন দুনিয়ার সমস্ত জাতিকে দেওয়া তোমাদের মাবুদ আল্লাহর এই সব জিনিসগুলোকে সেবা এবং পূজা করে তোমরা বিপথে চলে যেয়ো না।
মনে রেখো, মাবুদ তোমাদের বেছে নিয়েছেন এবং লোহা গলানো হাপরের মত যে মিসর দেশ সেখান থেকে তোমাদের বের করে এনেছেন যেন তোমরা তাঁরই বান্দা হতে পার, আর তোমরা এখন তা-ই হয়েছ।”

“তোমাদের মাবুদ আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য যে ব্যবস্থা স্থাপন করেছেন, সাবধান, তা তোমরা ভুলে যেয়ো না। তোমাদের মাবুদ আল্লাহর নিষেধ করা কোন কিছুর মূর্তি তৈরী করা তোমদের চলবে না, কারণ তোমাদের মাবুদ আল্লাহ হলেন সব কিছু পুড়িয়ে দেওয়া আগুন; তাঁর পাওনা এবাদত সম্বন্ধে তিনি খুব আগ্রহী।
তোমরা এবং তোমাদের বংশধরেরা সেই দেশে অনেক দিন বাস করবার পর যখন তোমরা কুপথে গিয়ে পূজার জন্য মূর্তি তৈরী করবে আর তোমাদের মাবুদ আল্লাহর চোখে যা খারাপ তা করে তাঁকে অসন্তুষ্ট করে তুলবে, সেই সময়ের জন্য আমি আজকের এই দিনে আসমান ও জমীনকে তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষী রেখে বলছি, তোমরা জর্ডান নদী পার হয়ে যে দেশ অধিকার করতে যাচ্ছ সেই দেশে তোমরা অল্প দিনেই শেষ হয়ে যাবে।
তোমরা সেখানে বেশী দিন বাস করতে পারবে না, নিশ্চয়ই ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে। মাবুদ নানা জাতির মধ্যে তোমাদের ছড়িয়ে দেবেন এবং যাদের মধ্যে তোমাদের তাড়িয়ে দেবেন তোমাদের খুব কম লোকই তাদের মধ্যে বেঁচে থাকবে। সেখানে তোমরা মানুষের তৈরী কাঠের ও পাথরের দেবতার পূজা করবে যারা না পারে দেখতে, না পারে শুনতে, না পারে খেতে, না পারে গন্ধ নিতে।” (ঐ:২৩-২৮)
সেন্ট পল লিখেছেন, “মূর্তি আসলে কিছুই নয় আর আল্লাহও মাত্র একজন ছাড়া আর নেই।” (কিতাবুল মোকাদ্দস : ১ করিন্থীয়:৪)
“আমার প্রিয় বন্ধুরা, তোমরা মূর্তিপূজা থেকে পালিয়ে যাও।” (ঐ:১৪)
মূর্তিপূজার প্রসাদ খাওয়াও নিষিদ্ধ
খ্রিস্টান ধর্ম শুধু মূর্তিপূজাকেই নিষিদ্ধ করেনি, মূর্তির উদ্দেশে নিবেদিত প্রসাদ খাওয়াকেও নিষিদ্ধ করেছে। যেমন-
সেন্ট পল লিখেছেন, “মূর্তি পূজার অভ্যাস ছিল বলে মূর্তির কাছে উৎসর্গ করা খাবার এখনও পর্যন্ত কেউ কেউ সেই হিসাবেই খেয়ে থাকে। তাতে তাদের বিবেক দুর্বল বলে নাপাক হয়।” (ঐ:৭)
“মূর্তির কাছে উৎসর্গ করা খাবার বিশেষ কিছু বা মূর্তি বিশেষ কিছু? তা নয়, বরং আমি বলছি, অ-ইহুদীরা যা উৎসর্গ করে তা আল্লাহর কাছে করে না, ভূতদের কাছেই করে। আমি চাই না যে, ভূতদের সংগে তোমাদের কোন যোগাযোগ-সম্বন্ধ থাকে। প্রভুর পেয়ালা আর ভূতদের পেয়ালা, এই দুই পেয়ালা থেকেই তোমরা খেতে পার না।” (ঐ:১৯-২১)
ক্রুশের ধারণা ভ্রান্ত হওয়ার প্রমাণ
গির্জায়, খ্রিস্টানদের গলায়, পোশাকে, বইপুস্তকে ‘ক্রুশ’ নামের একটি চিহ্ন দেখা যায়। এই ক্রুশ কি হযরত ঈসার (তাঁর ওপর আল্লাহর ঝরুক সালাম) রেখে যাওয়া কিছু? অথবা খ্রিস্টধর্মের গোড়াপত্তনকারী পলই কি এটির প্রচলন করেছিলেন?
না, তা কিন্তু নয়। দেখুন খ্রিস্টানদেরই বর্ণনা-
“অনেক ব্যক্তি ক্রুশকে খ্রিস্টধর্মের প্রতীক হিসেবে দেখে থাকে। কিন্তু, সকলে এমনটা মনে করে না যে, ক্রুশ পরা কিংবা তা বাড়িতে ও গির্জায় রাখা উচিত।”

খ্রিস্টানদের মধ্যে যারা ক্রুশকে খ্রিস্টধর্মের প্রতীকরূপে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে কাজ করেছেন, তারা একটি বর্ণনা দেন যে, যিশুকে ইহুদিরা ‘ক্রুশবিদ্ধ’ করে ‘হত্যা করেছিল’।
কিন্তু খ্রিস্টানদেরই অন্য পক্ষ দাবি করছেন, ক্রুশ নয়, যিশুকে ‘শূলবিদ্ধ’ করে ‘হত্যা করা হয়েছিল’। মানে আড়াআড়ি দুটি কাষ্ঠখণ্ডে পেরেকবিদ্ধ করার যে ছবি বা মূর্তি প্রচার করা হয়, এটি তারা মানতে নারাজ। তারা বলছেন কেবল একটিমাত্র উল্লম্ব কাঠে বা গাছের কেবল একটি কাণ্ডে যিশুকে শূলবিদ্ধ করে হত্যা করা হয়েছিল। যেমন-
“যিশুকে ‘গাছে টাঙ্গাইয়া’ হত্যা করা হয়েছিল। (প্রেরিত ৫:৩০)। কীভাবে যিশুকে হত্যা করা হয়েছিল, তা বর্ণনা করার সময় বাইবেল লেখকরা এমন দুটো শব্দ ব্যবহার করেছিলেন, যেগুলো ইঙ্গিত দেয়, দুটো নয় বরং একটা কাঠ ব্যবহার করা হয়েছিল।” (সূত্র – প্রাগুক্ত)
“খ্রিস্টান প্রেরিত পৌল লিখেছিলেন, যিশু আমাদের নিমিত্তে শাপস্বরূপ হইলেন; কেননা লেখা আছে, ‘যে কেহ গাছে [জাইলন] টাঙ্গান যায়, সে শাপগ্রস্ত।’ (গালাতীয় ৩:১৩)। এভাবে পৌল ইঙ্গিত দিয়েছিলেন, যিশুকে একটা দণ্ডের উপর অর্থাৎ কেবলমাত্র একটা কাঠের উপর হত্যা করা হয়েছিল।” (সূত্র – প্রাগুক্ত)
কবে কিভাবে ক্রুশের এবং ক্রুশপূজার প্রচলন হয়েছিল
ক্রুশ হোক, আর শূল হোক, এর পূজা যিশু করতে বলেননি। যিশুর শিষ্যরাও তা করেননি, বলেননি। বিকৃত খ্রিস্টধর্মের গোড়াপত্তনকারী পলও না। তাহলে কবে, কিভাবে এই ক্রুশের এবং ক্রুশবিদ্ধ যিশুর পূজা প্রচলন হলো? শুনুন খ্রিস্টানদেরই একটি পক্ষের বর্ণনা-
“বাইবেলে কোথাও বলা নেই যে, প্রাথমিক খ্রিস্টানরা ধর্মীয় প্রতীক হিসেবে ক্রুশ ব্যবহার করত। বরং, সেই সময়ের রোমীয়রা তাদের দেবতাদের চিহ্ন হিসেবে ক্রুশের আকৃতি ব্যবহার করত। যিশুর মৃত্যুর প্রায় ৩০০ বছর পর, রোমীয় সম্রাট কনস্টানটাইন নিজের সৈন্যবাহিনীর প্রতীক হিসেবে ক্রুশ ব্যবহার করতে শুরু করে আর এরপর এটা ‘খ্রিস্টীয়’ গির্জার এক অংশ হয়ে ওঠে।
যেহেতু পৌত্তলিক উপাসকরা তাদের দেবতাদের উপাসনা করার জন্য ক্রুশ ব্যবহার করত, তাই আমরা কি আশা করতে পারি যে, যিশুর শিষ্যরা সত্য ঈশ্বরের উপাসনা করার জন্য এটা ব্যবহার করেছিল?
এর বিপরীতে তারা জানত, ঈশ্বর অনেক আগেই উপাসনার জন্য ‘কোন আকারের মূর্ত্তি’ ব্যবহার করতে নিষেধ করেছিলেন আর খ্রিস্টানদের আজ্ঞা দেওয়া হয়েছিল, যেন তারা ‘প্রতিমাপূজা হইতে পলায়ন করে।’ (দ্বিতীয় বিবরণ ৪:১৫-১৯; ১ করিন্থীয় ১০:১৪) ‘ঈশ্বর আত্মা’, আর তাই মানুষের কাছে অদৃশ্য। এই কারণে, প্রাথমিক খ্রিস্টানরা নিজেদের ঈশ্বরের নিকটবর্তী বলে কল্পনা করার জন্য কোনো বাহ্যিক বস্তু ও চিহ্ন ব্যবহার করত না। বরং, তারা ‘আত্মায়’, অর্থাৎ তাঁর অদৃশ্য পবিত্র আত্মার দ্বারা চালিত হয়ে এবং ‘সত্যে’ অর্থাৎ শাস্ত্রে প্রকাশিত তাঁর ইচ্ছার সঙ্গে মিল রেখে ঈশ্বরের উপাসনা করত। যোহন ৪:২৪।” (সূত্র – প্রাগুক্ত)
